Today’s budget reflects a pragmatic shift toward rebuilding Canada’s productivity after years of stalled investment. The focus on accelerated write-offs for manufacturers, clearer investment rules, and reforms to labour mobility are positive steps that will help strengthen competitiveness and drive growth.
Our sector depends on predictable, modern policies that support domestic manufacturing, fair trade, and skilled labour. FHCP welcomes the government’s recognition of these priorities and looks forward to working with policymakers to ensure they translate into sustained growth and stronger supply chains for Canadians.
