Halloween may look and feel a little different this year; however, according to a new Abacus Data survey of Canadian adults commissioned in partnership by Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada (FHCP) and Retail Council of Canada (RCC), eight in ten Canadian parents plan to celebrate the season with their children in some way.
Just as the COVID-19 pandemic has had unique impacts across the country, every community in Canada is going to have a different approach to celebrating Halloween. Now more than ever, it's important that parents and Halloween lovers alike fine creative ways to celebrate while still staying safe.
Fortunately, FHCP and RCC have developed a list of fun and creative ideas to help ensure the Halloween spirit remains alive for those who wish to celebrate, while still adhering to public health recomendations, including physical distancing and the avoidance of large groups.
You can view the list, along with more information of the importance of a safe Halloween, in our joint press release with RCC.
