Uncertainty is at an all-time high. Supply challenges, demand pressures, recessionary threats, pandemic impacts, etc. Amidst this chaos we, as leaders, we are being asked to look out to the horizon and predict what is coming next for our organizations. A very challenging request. So, what can you do? We have three recommendations that we will unpack together during our 1-hour webinar that will help prepare you to respond in this unpredictable world:
1. Embrace the Power of "I Don't Know" – Consider for a moment the strength and authenticity of this answer. We will share a story of how embracing "I Don't Know" and provide a simple framework to help open more doors, surface new opportunities and amplify curiosity within your organization.
2. Flex Your Learning Agility – Knowing what to do when you don’t know what to do can be invaluable in these chaotic times. We will discuss how not over thinking enables the inspiration that often comes from unconscious thought and how to creatively draw on similarities from past experiences to help frame (or reframe) new challenges differently.
3. Rebuild Your Surge Capacity – Things break when they are rigid and tense. We will investigate how you can focus on replenishing your surge capacity to help weather the storm. Knowing when to choose to pause and replenish can set you apart from the swirl and broaden your perspective.
Key takeaways from this session include:
- New approaches to manage the ongoing requests to predict the unpredictable.
- Strategies to reshape your approach to responding in an unpredictable world.
- Tips on how to proceed in managing the swirl of everyday uncertainty.
