Marc-Andre Bally
Vice-President Costco Business Centre Ancillary Services, Costco Canada Inc.

Marc-André Bally has 30 years of retail experience. Marc-André began his career in 1990 at Club Price as a clerk. Over the next 5 years, he held several different positions within the warehouse.In 1995, Marc-André joined the purchasing team in the regional office, where he was responsible for different categories of the Food sector. In 2008, he was promoted to the position of Buying Director for the Non-Food sector. In 2011, he was promoted to General Manager, then Vice-President in 2012.

In 2016, he was entrusted with opening the first Business Centre in Canada; a concept in full expansion in the United States. The first warehouse store of its kind opened on March 31, 2017 in Toronto. This new concept is in fact a homecoming; it aims to serve businesses in the first place, offering products focused on meeting their needs. In this position, Marc-André is responsible for purchasing as well as the operational aspect of this new Canadian division of Costco.

In 2018, we added the Industrial Bakery to his responsibilities where we are currently producing bread, cookies and croissants sold across Canada and partly in the United States. In 2019, Marc-André also becomes responsible for Ancillary Services, including Pharmacies, Optics, Hearing Aids and Gas Stations. 

Errol Cerit
Executive Vice President, Industry, Public Affairs & Membership Development, Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada

Errol is the Executive Vice President of Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada (FHCP) the national trade association representing Canada’s food, health, and consumer goods manufacturers. 

Errol has been with FHCP for 10 years and currently leads FHCP’s Industry , Public Affairs and Membership Development efforts, focusing on providing members with critical insights on the Canadian grocery trade environment and working with members on industry initiatives that enable companies to reduce costs and improve service to their customers.  

Prior to joining FHCP, Errol spent 13 years at Loblaw in various progressive roles in Engineering, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Retail Operations. Errol also worked for Bombardier’s Aerospace division, and led a boutique consulting firm focusing on distribution and network efficiencies. 

Errol is a professional engineer and has an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Toronto. 

 

Darren Lewis
Director IT/Logistics Business Centre, Costco Grocery, Costco Canada Inc.

Darren Lewis began his career at Costco in 1995. Over the next 20 years he held a variety of positions within multiple locations at both the hourly and management levels including Assistant General Manager.

In 2016, Darren joined the Costco Business Centre division at the Canadian corporate office as the Operations Manager overseeing the Business Centre Website and fulfillment logistics. The Business Centre is a concept designed to cater to the needs of local businesses from small to large. In 2019, he was promoted to Business Centre Director of Operations.

Over the past year the Business Centre has undergone significant expansion growing from one location to the fifth being completed in April 2021.  Along with his responsibilities in the Business Centres, in 2018, Darren took the lead role in launching the Costco Grocery program on Costco.ca in the Toronto market and its national expansion in 2020. 

Pietro Nenci
Vice-President/General Merchandise Manager Corporate Foods Canada, Costco Canada Inc.

Pietro was hired by Costco in 1987 at the Crémazie office in Montreal. He became a replenishment clerk in 1988. He was then promoted to Buyer in 1989, Senior Buyer in 1992 and Assistant General Manager of Food Merchandising in 1994. Pietro took on the role of Warehouse Manager in Pointe-Claire, Quebec in 2000.


He was then transferred to the Ottawa Regional Office in 2001 as Assistant Vice President, Food and Sundries until he was promoted to Vice President/General Manager, Food and Sundries in 2003. In 2011, Pietro became VP/General Manager, Food, and also assumed responsibility for National Food procurement, KS Foods private label, Costco Grocery.CA, Food Safety, Environment.

Giro Rizzuti
Vice-President/General Merchandise Manager Non-Foods, Costco Canada Inc.

Giro Rizzuti has 30 years of retail experience. Giro started working at Price Club in 1990 at the Anjou Warehouse and held several positions within the building.

In 1995, Giro joined the Buying team in the Laval Regional Office, where he was responsible for several categories in Non Foods. Moved with Costco Canadian Head office in 2001 to Ottawa where he was later promoted to Director of Buying in 2008 and then in 2013 General Merchandise Manager & Vice-President role which he has held ever since.

He has been part of the on going success of Costco in the Home Fashion Categories, growing the sales and penetration in the Health & Beauty Category and also Seasonal items over the past several years for In Line and On Line with Costco.CA
