FHCP's Annual Supply Chain Symposium Goes Virtual for 2021
Supply chain professionals have always known the critical importance of domestic and global supply chains but the pandemic has elevated its critical importance to new levels for both business and government. What changes can we expect in the coming years and what skillsets are needed to meet the challenges in The Decade of Supply Chain?
FHCP has invited industry experts to discuss the impact and influence of supply chain during the current pandemic to the recovery period and post-recovery period. Chelsea Hawk Client Solutions Manager, Brightdrop Chelsea has held several key positions within the fleet industry that have resulted in costs savings and efficiency. She started her career with Donlen, and has consulted with a wide array of clients to identify opportunities to lower costs and increase savings. In addition, she managed Donlen’s environmental initiatives and other strategic projects. Chelsea spent time as the fleet manager for Allstate Insurance Company. With over 3,000 units within the fleet, Chelsea was able to decrease overall fleet spend through the implementation of a strategic fleet policy. Her fleet management expertise led her back to Donlen, where she had responsibility for the outsourced management division of Donlen. Currently, as a Client Solutions Manager at Brightdrop Chelsea is responsible for ensuring the operational success of the Brightdrop ecosystem of electrified logistical solutions. |
Sarah Joyce SVP Ecommerce, Sobeys Inc. As Senior Vice President of Ecommerce for Sobeys Inc., Sarah Joyce has fueled transformational change at the grocery powerhouse and helped revolutionize the face of online grocery delivery in Canada. Sarah launched Voilà by Sobeys, a cutting-edge online grocery delivery service powered by Ocado Group's industry-leading technology. This first-of-its-kind service in Canada fills orders from a robotic fulfillment center and offers a superior, scalable ecommerce solution unlike anything else available in the market. When the pandemic hit in early 2020, Sarah mobilized thousands of employees, partners and suppliers to accelerate the launch to Canadians and meet the heightened need for a safe and dependable online grocery service. Under Sarah's leadership, Voilà continues to expand with the announcement of two new fulfilment centres being developed in Montreal and Calgary, and the introduction of Voilà Curbside Pick-up in hundreds of stores across the country in the coming years. Prior to joining Sobeys in June 2018, Sarah was General Manager of Saksoff5th.com and Gilt.com at Hudson's Bay Company. Gary Lalonde Vice President, North America - Trucks, Lion Electric Gary Lalonde is Vice-President of North American truck sales with Lion Electric. After spending almost 10 years in the transportation industry, he sought out and eagerly accepted the opportunity to join The Lion Electric Co. 2 years ago. Gary has been key in developing the electric truck market at Lion making him an active participant in the electrification of transportation.
