AGENDA
The Art of Science Peak Performance: How Leaders can
Maintain Health & Performance in Challenging Times
In today’s world of constant change and unprecedented challenges, stress and burnout are on the rise. The demand to deliver better outcomes, higher results, and more impact has never been greater. Thriving isn’t about doing more - it’s about understanding how to optimize human physiology.
Dr. Greg Wells shares science-backed strategies to help leaders elevate performance under pressure, shift from tension to flow, and sustain energy through challenge and uncertainty. Drawing on insights from elite performers, he explores how to harness stress as a catalyst for growth, access “The Zone,” and build an elite mindset for today’s fast-paced environment.
Attendees will leave with practical tools to stay calm and focused amid chaos, use simple breathing techniques to enhance clarity and energy, and apply recovery principles that support healthy, sustainable high performance.
The (No) Hunger Games: GLP-1 Strategies for
Canadian Sales & Marketing Leaders
It's not a fad! GLP-1 medications like Ozempic and Wegovy are rapidly reshaping Canadian consumer behaviour: roughly 13% of Canadian households already include a GLP-1 user, with almost 1 in 5 (18%) consumers expressing openness to future use. As adoption accelerates and reshapes how consumers eat and shop across retailers, categories, and brands, the commercial implications extend well beyond healthcare into grocery, fast food, health and beauty, and more. Sales and marketing leaders will need to identify opportunities for innovation, understand how to mitigate risks in less healthy categories, and develop strategies to stay relevant in a market being redefined in real time.
From Tough Talks to Trusted Teams:
Navigating Candid Conversations Across Generations
In today's high-pressure, multi-generational workplace, the conversations that drive performance are often the ones teams avoid - costing time, trust, and results. In this practical, engaging session, Andrea Jacks will share how to lean into candid conversations with confidence and impact, bridge generational differences to build stronger alignment, and create a culture where ownership, feedback, and performance thrive.
Agentic AI and the Future of Retail
As artificial intelligence evolves, a new frontier is emerging — Agentic AI. These autonomous, goal-driven systems can perceive, reason, and act with minimal human intervention, enabling unprecedented levels of personalization, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
Retail futurist Doug Stephens will explore the transformative potential of Agentic AI in retail, from dynamic supply chain optimization and autonomous merchandising to AI-powered customer agents that can shop, negotiate, and transact on behalf of consumers.
Audiences will gain insights into early use cases, long-term implications and ethical considerations for businesses as AI agents become central to both customer experience and enterprise operations.
The Future of Retail: Global Perspectives, Canadian Impact
What global trends are shaping the next chapter of retail in Canada? In this fireside conversation, Danni Peirce of Loblaw joins FHCP’s Errol Cerit to share perspectives drawn from both her international experience and her Canadian experience within Canada’s largest grocery retailer.
Winning When Growth Is Harder: Fueling Growth in an
Era of Choice, Complexity and Change
Despite economic pressure, inflation fatigue, and global uncertainty, Canadian grocery is far from stagnant – it's being actively rewired by a smarter, more intentional consumer. Value is no longer just about price; it’s creating openings for brands that deliver relevance through convenience, health, and proudly Canadian propositions, fueling at home growth occasions. In an era of constraint, the winners won’t wait for conditions to improve – they’ll grow by earning trust, stealing share, and meeting shoppers exactly where their priorities are changing.
Peer-driven. Expert-led. Our Advisory Committee shapes the conference program to reflect what matters most right now, bringing you content that’s relevant, practical, and impactful.
