Advancing Diversity & Inclusion: Why It’s Key to Growing Businesses

Events of the past year have exposed and exacerbated a number of inequalities in our society, introducing both challenges and opportunities for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (EDI) within our teams, our customers, and our consumers.

Organizations and leaders are increasingly being held accountable to their EDI commitments, and the pandemic has provided a chance to reconsider current work practices and objectives to better meet the needs of a truly representative workforce, and to build more inclusive brands to attract a diverse range of consumers.

Hear an esteemed group of experts discuss how their organizations are holding themselves accountable, adapting their EDI strategies, shifting consumer expectations, and embracing G.R.I.T. to drive business objectives.

From the evolution of the omnichannel and AI-powered customer journeys to the role of social media and mixed reality, technology evangelist Marc Saltzman will discuss today’s and tomorrow’s tech trends for Canadian consumers.

The Burnout Gamble: Achieve More by Beating Burnout & Building Resilience

According to a recent survey by EY, one third of full-time workers globally say that managing work-life has become increasingly difficult. Workers revealed that they are working longer hours and harder than ever before, leaving very little time for much else. One could argue that we’re living in a golden age of workplace stress, largely due to the changing role of work in our lives. When work and life blend into each other, how can you begin to achieve an equilibrium that supports your physical, emotional and mental health? Perhaps it’s time to resist the binary construction (or fallacy) that is work-life and consider a new framework altogether. Hamza explores the transition from overachiever to high performer.
