Tom Gunter
Managing Director, T.A.G. Marketplace Consulting Inc.

Tom brings with him a wealth of experience in the CPG industry with past appointments such as the president of ConAgra Foods, leadership roles at Pepsico/Frito-Lay, and Molson Coors, to name a few. His vision is to support the ever-changing grocery landscape through mentorship, advisory and governance, with a focus on growth and development.

Michelle Saunders
Vice President, Sustainability, Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada

Michelle Saunders is the Vice President of Sustainability at FHCP where she leads the association’s efforts on public policy related to plastics and packaging, and Chairs FHCP’s Sustainability Working Group.  She has worked as a lobbyist and policy advisor for trade associations in the business sector for the past 19 years and was a political advisor in the Ontario government prior to that. 

Michelle currently sits on a number of boards and advisory committees across the country including numerous provincial packaging recycling organizations, authorities, as well as industry groups such as the Canada Plastics Pact.


 

Brett Wills
Founder & CEO, CarbonOne

Brett is the founder and CEO of CarbonOne, a Canadian clean-tech company operating in the Carbon Accounting & Reporting Space. Brett has over 25 years of experience in Sustainability and the Agri-Food Sector.

Prior to founding CarbonOne, Brett founded one of Canada's first Sustainable Business Management Consulting firms - Green Enterprise Movement (GEM) and led the organization's consistent year-over-year growth for 14 consecutive years. In this role, Brett had the opportunity to work with over 200 North American food and beverage companies from small start-ups to large publicly traded multinationals advising on strategies to drive organizational performance through a focus on Sustainability. During this time Brett was also a Professor of Sustainable Business Management at Seneca College in Toronto.

Brett earned a BA in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and completed post-graduate work in Environmental Studies at Dalhousie University. Brett lives in Toronto and is the author of 2 ground-breaking Sustainability books: Green Intentions and Purposely Profitable.
