About the campaign

Phase 1

The first phase of the campaign used on-package and in-store messaging, national media advertising such as print and television advertising, and an educational website to communicate with Canadians how to use the % Daily Value as a quick way to know if a packaged food contains a lot or a little of a nutrient. This information helps consumers choose and compare food products.

Phase 2

The second phase of the campaign encouraged Canadians to “Focus on the Facts on the NFt.” Building on the success of the first phase (2010-2014), Phase 2 introduces the concept of Serving Size and how to use the various elements of the Nutrition Facts table (NFt).
